Liver Transplantation for AVS
Senior comedian AVS on Friday underwent liver transplantation at Global Hospitals, Hyderabad. It is known that the actor has been ailing with liver-related problems for the last few days. Chronic diabetes led to the damage of the liver and this necessitated the organ transplantation thanks to the donation from AVS's daughter. Earlier, the actor's wife and son were diagnosed for this purpose, but theirs didn't suit with his parameters metabolically. Latest, both AVS and his daughter doing fine and would be discharged in a few days, hospital sources said. Idlebrain.com wishes AVS a speedy recovery.

Nagarjuna's vote in Nizamabad
Akkineni Nagarjuna turned a voter in Nizamabad district thanks to the laxity and negligence of the officials at the concerned DPL centre. The State Chief Election Officer Dr. IV Subba Rao said that for the photograph of a voter by name Akula Nagarjuna, the photo of film actor Akkineni Nagarjuna was printed on voter's Identity Card. He warned that anyone who resorts to such acts of slackness will be punished with two years of imprisonment.

Happy B'Day to Rajendra Prasad
Lead comedy hero Dr. Rajendra Prasad today celebrates his birthday, entering into his 53rd. Born on July 19th, 1956 at Nimmakur in Krishna district, Rajendra Prasad took his Bachelor's degree in engineering, before entering into films. He made his debut with Sneham (1977). But, he became a household name with Ladies Tailor (1985). Earlier, he made attempts to become a mass hero with films having revolutionary subjects like Ee Charitra Ye Siratho (1982) and Idhi Kadhu Mugimpu (1983). But, the audience of Andhra Pradesh found the best comedy hero in Rajendra Prasad, and he continues the streak since the last two decades. He is the first Telugu comedy hero to get an honorary doctorate. Latest, his performance in Aa Naluguru and Mee Sreyobhilashi, coming with out and out family subjects, further endeared him to the audiences. Aug 14: Signal from Chiru camp
Widespread reports say Megastar Chiranjeevi would announce the launch of his party on August 14th, instead of the much-publicized Aug 15th as the latter is thought to divert the pubic attention more on I-Day celebrations. Allu Arvind without dwelling into dates once again announced that the leader of the masses (Praja Nayakudu) was coming soon and signaled the functionaries to be prepared to board the train. There is also a signal from the camp, seeking the enthusiastic sections (from the various political parties) to join Chiru's side on or before August 14. Such being the case, there are lingering doubts as to what would be the placement of those who prefer to join Chiru's party after its launch.

Rajiv Kanakala's new thriller
Songs recording of Rajiv Kanakala's new suspense thriller on Joshika Sailakshmi Films banner commenced at Keerthana Studios, Hyderabad. Sindhu Tolani plays the female lead. Suhasini, Vijaysamrat, Mohit, Mumaith Khan, Brahmanandam, AVS, Krishna Bhagwan and other will play vital roles. Phaniraj is the director. D. Ramesh Babu is the producer. Rajiv Kanakala said that he plays the role of a police officer in the film. The regular shoot will start from August 3rd week. Chandralekha scores music. Currently, Rajiv Kanakala's ready for release psychological thriller is Three in the direction of Sekkhar Suri.

Visu Films movie in progress
The latest film of Visu Films, starring Chief Minister Dr. YS Rajasekhar Reddy (as CM on the screen) and Brahmanandam in lead roles is finished to its shooting by 30% over a ten-day schedule. CC Reddy paid rich complement to YSR saying that he had acted on par with any senior most artistes in the industry. Maestro Ilayaraja scores music for this mookie, which is coming after Pushpaka Vimanam. Incidentally, it was the Maestro who was music director for that film. The title of the film would be announced soon. The next schedule will commence in August.

Amma Rajasekhar as villain
Amma Rajasekhar, the choreographer turned director, is set to don the role of the main villain in a film titled Poru, reports said. He not only plays the villain, but himself directs the film, starring Srihari as the hero. Priyamani is said to be under consideration for the heroine role. Its shoot is expected to commence on August 15th. Currently, Amma Rajasekhar is busy directing the film Beebatsam, starring his brother Yuvan as hero.

Ravi Teja’s latest film Khatarnak was all set to release on 14th of December. tis film has long legged
lucky heroine Ileana playing female lead. Choreographer turned director Amma Rajasekhar was directing
tis film. Prasad who produced Chatrapati produces tis film. Keeravani composed music.

Mohit Ahlawat replaced of Sholay
Mohit Ahlawat (a find of Ram Gopal Varma) was dropped fr Ramu’s remake of Sholay. Raj – a Mumbai based
model – was replacing Mohit 4 Jai role of Sholay. Ajay Devgan was doing d role of Veeru. Amitab
Bachchan was doing Gabbar Singh. Incidentally Mohit was ousted fr d project after 40% of d shoot was
completed.

As per d latest rumors going around of Hyderabad, Prabhu Deva was being considered as d director 4
Telugu remake of Hindi blockbuster Lage Raho Munna Bhai. tis film was going to be remade of Telugu as
Shankar Dada Zindabad with Chiranjeevi as hero. Vidya Balan was expected to play d female lead. A high
profile hero was expected to do d role of ATM (circuit) of tis film.

Annavaram shoot almost complete
The shooting of Pawan Kalyan’s Annavaram film was almost complete except 4 a couple of songs. A song
was being canned at present of Hyderabad. Audio of tis film will be released of d first week of
